Our school holiday camps are suitable for every child, regardless of previous sports experience. They are a great way to keep your kids active and social during the school holidays.

They are all about providing the perfect introduction to tennis (and other sports like, soccer, cricket, hockey, oztag, and more) - suitable for ages 5-12yrs.

This program is not suitable for children who have not started primary school yet.

Whether you are new to tennis or have played before, holiday camps are a great way to learn new skills and meet friends along the way.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Does my child need previous tennis or sports experience?

Not at all! Our holiday camps are open to kids of all experience levels. Children are grouped by age—so activities are fun, safe, and suited to their stage of development.

  • What sports and activities are included?

Our camps offer a great mix of fun sports and games, including:

    • Tennis
    • Pickleball
    • POP Tennis
    • Street Hockey
    • Oztag
    • Soccer
    • Teeball / Kickball
    • Dodgeball
    • Cricket
    • Mini Olympics / Athletics

Children are grouped by age and rotate through different activities each day. The schedule changes daily—so not every sport is played every day—and plan the daily activities to suit the group’s preferences and skill levels, ensuring everyone stays engaged and has fun.

  • What age is the camp suitable for?

Our camps are perfect for kids aged 5–12! To join the fun, children should have completed at least two terms of school and be at least 5 years old—ready to make new friends and enjoy a full day of activities.

  • What should my child bring?

We suggest packing for camp just like a school day. Please make sure your child has:

    • A hat, running shoes, and comfy sports clothes
    • Lunch, snacks, and a drink bottle
    • A tennis racquet (if they have one)

On the final day of camp, we provide lunch (usually pizza!). If your child has any dietary requirements, please let us know in advance.

  • Do I need to stay with my child?

No, our camps run as a drop-off and pick-up program—just like school. We find children settle in quickly and make friends more easily this way.

Parents are, of course, welcome to stay for all or part of the day if they wish. Many choose to stay for the first 15–30 minutes on day one to help their child feel comfortable.

  • What are the times of the camp?

    • Drop-off: From 8.30am
    • Camp runs: 9.00-3.00pm
    • Pickup: By 3.15pm

  • What happens if it rains?

Our holiday camps are fully outdoors, and we go ahead in light rain, adjusting activities as needed.

In some cases, severe weather may mean camp can’t go ahead. If this happens, we’ll cancel that day’s camp. Decisions are made daily—usually by 7:00am—and parents are notified by SMS.

If a day is cancelled, you will receive a credit for the value of that day on your account to rebook for another program within 6 months. The credit may be used for any type of program with us.

  • Where are the camps held?

    Campbelltown

    • Wests Tennis Centre
    • 16 Old Leumeah Road, Leumeah NSW 2560

    Picton

    • Picton Tennis Club
    • Downing Street, Picton NSW 2571

  • How are children grouped for sports and activities?

We generally group children by age, as activities and games are tailored to suit different age levels. While we try to accommodate requests for friends or siblings to be in the same group, grouping by age usually gives each child the best chance to participate, develop skills, and have fun. What are the qualifications of the staff
