They are all about providing the perfect introduction to tennis (and other sports like, soccer, cricket, hockey, oztag, and more) - suitable for ages 5-12yrs.

Whether you are new to tennis or have played before, holiday camps are a great way to learn new skills and meet friends along the way.

  • Frequently Asked Questions

    • Is previous tennis/sport experience required?

Our holiday camps are suitable for every child, regardless of previous sports experience.

We group children based on age, and ability, to coordinate activities suitable for them.

    • What sports and activities are included?

      Our camps include:

      • Tennis
      • Oztag
      • Soccer

Children are placed in groups and rotate through various activities throughout the day. Daily activities may vary and include a different mix of sports/activities.

    • What to bring?

Kids should have their bags packed similar to going to school, we recommend:

      • Wear a hat, running shoes and comfortable sports clothing
      • Bring lunch, snacks, and drink bottle
      • Tennis racquet (if you have one)

Lunch is provided on the last day of each camp (pizza) – if your child has any dietary restrictions, please let us know.

    • Do I need to stay with my children?

We recommend a drop-off/pick-up just like at school, we find this encourages the kids to interact with others kids.

Parents are welcome to stay for all or part of the day. Normally parents will stay for the first 15-30 minutes of the first day to allow their children to settle in.

    • What are the times of the camp?

      • Drop-off: From 8.30am
      • Camp runs: 9.00-3.00pm
      • Pickup: By 3.15pm
    • What happens if it rains?

Our Multisport Camps are a completely outdoor program, so rain, and extreme heat can impact our program at times. We may modify our activities, based on the weather conditions.

In extreme cases, the weather may prevent us from running our programs, in which case we would cancel that day’s camp. When this is a possibility, it is decided daily, usually by 7am and you are notified by SMS.

    • What age is the camp suitable for?

Our program is suitable for children aged 5-12 years old.

At a minimum, participants should have completed at least two terms of school, and be at least 5 years of age.

    • Where are the camps held?

      Campbelltown

      • Wests Tennis Centre
      • 16 Old Leumeah Road, Leumeah NSW 2560

      Picton

      • Picton Tennis Club

    • How are children grouped for sports/activities?

The activities/games that are played for each sport, can vary by the age of the children in the group. Because of this, we do try to group children together based on age. Children are still given the opportunity to be in a group with their friends or siblings, however this may not be to their benefit in terms of skill development and participation opportunities.

    • What are the qualifications of the staff

All of our school holiday camps are led by one of our Head Coaches, who have extensive experience in sports coaching, specialising in tennis coaching.

Our holiday camp team has varying backgrounds, including tennis coaching, teaching, and early childhood education. All staff have a Working With Children Check.
