Head Coach, Tino Vissers

Tino Vissers has been coaching for some 23 years in a variety of countries all over the world. He established Advantage Tennis 16 years ago, which has gained a reputation as one of Perth's leading tennis academies.
Tino has been a member of the executive committee of the Western Australian Tennis Coaches Association and has coached State Squads in Western Australia with coaches Jeff Schneider and Jeff Masters. Additionally, he was invited to coach the National Juniors in Singapore in 1989. He regularly participates in the National Tennis Coaching conferences held in Melbourne and has toured world-renowned tennis academies in Florida - including those of Nick Bolletieri,Rick Macci and Harry Hopman.

Tino has played tennis competitively in several countries, reaching qualifying rounds in the French Open and Wimbledon in 1981-1983.

Qualifications:



Full-time assistant coach Philip Mc Keague

Philip has been a member of the club for some 10 years now. He just recently returned from the US where he studied and played college tennis. He received an academic as well as a sports scholarship and spent two years travelling in America and studing sport medicine. He coached tennis exstensively at the Nike camps. Philip is a Level One coach in Australia and with a high playing standard he certainly knows the game. Philip is available for group and private lessons as well as 'hit ups'.



Part-time Assistant Coach, Nick Paneparis

Nick has been assisting with coaching for about a year and just recently has become a qualified coach with the Australian Coaching Association. Nick is a top player in the local competition.




Part-time Assistant Coach, Melvin Scholtz

Melvi specialises in junior group coaching. He is a real 'hit' with the Kindy's and Wilson Mr. Pee Wee coaching groups. Melvin is a Level One coach with the Australian Coaches Association and has been coaching for Advantage Tennis for about 6 years now. He has developed himself as a competent all-round coach.



Assistant coach, Steve Fabbris

Steve has been coaching for Advantage Tennis for some years and is therefore familiar with the Advantage Tennis approach. Specialising in the mental aspects of the game, he is invaluable for our junior match players.



Part-time Assistant Coach, Martin Baker

Martin is a qualified level one coach with a few years experience in the UK and Australia. He is a highly skilled player, playing State Grade pennants in WA.
